To really ensure your brand personality is the best it can be, employee behavior needs to be a reflection of the brand. If the way your employees are doing their job doesn’t align with your brand’s values, then there’s going to be disconnect.
For example, let’s say your brand places an emphasis on speed. Everything is done quick. You have a fast delivery service, everything is easy to find in-store, and there’s never a line to checkout. The only problem? Your customer service didn’t get the memo. If a customer spends more than five minutes waiting to resolve an issue at the service counter, then suddenly, your brand personality has been compromised.
Give your business space a personal touch
Is your business warm and welcoming? Or does it feel boring and sterile? A core part of company culture is work environment. Unless you’re running under strict corporate guidelines, experimenting with your business space is a great way to add personality. It can introduce some much-needed atmosphere, which is great not just for customers, but for employees as well.
